Stef - 21yrs

Hi there! I’m Stef, the girl with the curls :) I've been working with children between 1 - 12 years old as a kids party entertainer at Amazing Kids Parties since July last year. Almost every weekend, I have organised and facilitated children's birthday parties and events, engaging them in fun activities whilst giving the parents a break! To date, this means that I've hosted 118 kids' parties. (17.01.2024). So, I'm no stranger to arranging activities for kids that they'll enjoy, and adapting my plans based on their needs and desires in the moment. I also worked in Italy as an English tutor at summer camps for children 6 - 16 years old during June and July of this year. At these week long camps, I taught Italian children English through drama, games and songs, culminating in a short performance for families and caregivers at the end of the week. This means that I now have a TEFL-PP certificate (Teaching English as a Foreign Language through Performance and Play) in addition to my TEFL certificate (Level 5). So, if your child is keen to improve their English language skills, I'd be happy to help! Most recently, I’ve started working as a disability support worker. I now help a 11 year old girl with Down Syndrome improve different skills, both academic and physical. We read a lot together, and pretend to be the different characters. She’s an excellent storyteller as well, and I help her to write her ideas down (and spell words when she can’t remember the spelling). We’ve also started playing netball, practising our motor skills and ‘frozen feet’! However, our favourite activity has got to be singing songs together, acapella and at her pace.
