Hi mums and dads, I am primary school teacher from the UK, currently in Australia on a working holiday. In my 3 years of teaching, I mostly worked in years 5 and 6 but enjoyed spending time with the little ones too! I was also lucky enough to spend 6 months on Hamilton Island where I babysat for a number of families with children whose ages ranged from1 year to 12 years old. I am available for casual tutoring as well as babysitting duties! I am very flexible and happy to help out with meal times, join in with activities and most importantly have a bit of fun. Childcare Experience
I have been a qualified teacher for 3 years in the UK, I have worked with children throughout the primary school. I was also lucky enough to work on Hamilton Island where I regularly babysat for children of all ages to give the parents some alone time on their holiday. I love the diversity of working with children, no day is ever the same and they never fail to put a smile on your face.
Tutoring Experience
I am a qualified teacher in the UK, whilst teaching I was also a private tutor after school and on the weekends. My lovely students had a variety of different needs. Some children came to help them prepare for entrance exams whilst others needed a boost in their curriculum understanding. I understand that all children are different and learn at different paces, approaching their learning in a calm and safe environment without the pressures that the classroom can bring is often all they need to boost their confidence and achieve their goals!
