TUTORING AND BABYSITTING Hi everyone, My name is Sofia and I am looking for a regular 1-3 x per week commitment for babysitting. I am also looking to take on casual work as well. I am passionate about childcare and love spending time with kids. I grew up in a big family with lots of younger cousins who I have always taken care of. I can also offer my tutoring services for math, English up to high school level and all primary school subjects - I graduated high school with a 99.75 ATAR and am passionate about hard work. I also have experience tutoring. My certificates: - Working with Children Check - Australian drivers license (will have this by Frebruary) - First Aid certificate - Fully vaccinated My qualifications: - Experienced babysitter of 3 years - Grew up in a big family with many younger cousins - Does math and English tutoring for children - Experienced cook - can cook meals - Pet owner - can look after pets as well. Childcare Experience
I have been looking after children for 3 years now. I do a lot of casual babysitting work for regular and new families. I grew up in a big family with lots of younger cousins who I always cared for, so I feel like I have been in childcare for much longer. I am comfortable with all ages upwards of infancy. I have the most experience in ages 2-12 years old. The most rewarding thing about childcare for me is having conversations with the children. They never fail to show me a fresh childlike perspective on the world. I also really value the way childcare helps the entire family unit. Growing up with a single working mother, I know how busy parents can get - and I would love to be able to take some of the load off.
Tutoring Experience
I have been tutoring for around 2 years now. I have a few regular clients and also assist my younger brother with his school work. I recently graduated high school and did the International Baccalaureate (IB). I achieved an ATAR of 99.75 and took the following subjects: Spanish B (standard), Language and Literature (High level), Mathematics Analysis and Approaches (High level), Physics (standard), Psychology (High level), Visual Arts (standard). I feel very confident tutoring mathematics and English up to year 10 level. For years 11-12 it would depend on the math course - I am confident in tutoring IB mathematics. For primary school I am confident in most subjects, but my strong suits would be math, English and reading. I feel very passionate about math and am studying it at a high level in university.
