Hello Families! I am an experienced and passionate childcare provider with a background in Early Childhood Education. I have worked in long day care centres, as a nanny, and as an au pair both domestically and abroad. I have extensive experience caring for babies, toddlers, and preschool-aged children (0-6 years old) and specialize in providing age-appropriate care, developmental support, and engaging activities for younger children. While my main focus is on early childhood, I also have some experience with primary school-aged children and am happy to care for older kids when needed. I am currently completing my final year of a Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood Education) and have completed anaphylaxis, first aid, asthma, and CPR training, which I review annually. I also hold a Working With Children Check. My goal is to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment that supports children’s development through play-based learning, emotional support, and structured routines. At the moment, I am studying university online, which allows me to have a flexible schedule. I also have my own car for transportation. While I may not be an expert cook, I enjoy learning new recipes with my family in my free time! A little about me—I have two dogs and a bearded dragon at home, so I’m very comfortable around animals! Childcare Experience
I have been working in the childcare industry for several years and have gained extensive experience across various settings. I have been an educator in the same long day care centre for the past 5-6 years, where I have developed a strong passion for working with children aged 0-3 years. While my focus has been on the younger age group, I have also worked across all rooms, supporting children of different ages and developmental stages. Beyond my role as an educator, I have had some involvement behind the scenes in event planning, assisting with the daily operations of the centre, building strong partnerships and communication with families, and contributing to legal work. In addition to my centre-based experience, I spent six months as an au pair in Paris, where I provided full-time care for children, immersed in a different culture, and further developed my ability to adapt to individual family needs. Since 2019, I have also worked as a nanny and babysitter, offering both regular and one-off care for children of various ages. I am currently studying Early Childhood Education full-time, which includes regular placements at different childcare centres, allowing me to gain hands-on experience in diverse learning environments and continuously build my professional knowledge and skills. Through my experience, I have developed a deep understanding of child development, a strong ability to create nurturing and engaging environments, and excellent communication skills with both children and families. I am passionate about providing high-quality care that supports each child’s growth and well-being.
