Hi, I’m a 3rd year uni student studying health science and science, and working part time as a swimming teacher. I’m the middle kid of three and enjoy working with children of all ages. In my spare time, you'll find me bouldering, at the beach with my dog, exploring the outdoors or having a craft day. I'm primarily after casual babysitting jobs for the summer holidays, but willing to continue working alongside uni next year for the right fit.
I have been working as a learn to swim teacher for nearly 5 years now, teaching children from 6 months old to in their teens. I have also spent time volunteering at a local homework club, engaging with primary aged kids and assisting them with homework and encouraging school and social engagement. Getting to see kids learn, gain confidence and enjoy themselves is a rewarding experience that keeps me working in this area.
I’m new to the world of home tutoring, however I have a range of experience working with children in a learning environment, both as a qualified swim instructor in the pool, and assisting in a homework group for primary aged kids. I am passionate about being creative and have had years of being tutored myself in piano and flute. I am able to tutor both general school subjects and beginner french, as I completed VCE French last year.
