Julie - 55yrs

Hi everyone, I am a proud mum of 3 grown up young men, but i still call them 'my boys' . I am originally from the UK but emigrated to NZ and lived there for 19 years. I recently moved over to Australia just a couple of months ago with my husband. My son's are still in NZ but are all planning on moving over here within the year which can't come quick enough lol. We speak daily and I miss them all. Things moved very quickly for us coming out here but it definitely is a great and positive move. At the age of 16 after finishing high school I went off to college and did a nanny course, this led onto numerous nanny jobs for me, looking after new born babies to teenage children. Some of them I still keep in contact with on fb which is wonderful seeing them grow and now have their own children. The time came for me to settle down and then have my own children, I had 3 boys under the age of 4 years old which was quite challenging at times but there was so much laughter in the home. As the boys grew older I then worked at home doing beauty after doing some different beauty courses. Later on when we moved to NZ i opened a hair and beauty salon which i worked part time in whilst still caring for my boys. I had the Salon for numerous years then decided to work back at home doing massage. I have done this for the last 15 years but also looked after my middle son's girlfriends son for the past 3 years also. His step son is on the high end scale with autism. It is extremely challenging and also rewarding looking after him, he is non verbal but has a beautiful soul. Every now and then there is a flicker of eye contact and a laugh from him, that is so precious. Now we are here in Australia I'm looking for part time work with children, before and after school would be ideal . I'm a very fit young at heart lady. I do yoga, pilates, walk and run every day, alternately of course lol. I am positive and outgoing and would so love to be around children of any age. Love and laughter is the best medicine I can give. Cuddles and fun times are a must but also routine and teaching right from wrong is also. So if you are looking for your Mary Poppins, here I am.
