Hi there, I’ve lived in Newcastle for the past 4 years working as a contemporary dancer and dance teacher at Catapult dance and as a Senior art Gallery assistant at the Newcastle Art Gallery. At the Art Gallery I had the wonderful opportunity to teach kids holiday art workshops to ages 4-12, encouraging creativity, keeping them engaged in projects and helping them complete their project within a set time. I have been a dance teacher to ages 3-56 for the past 7 years and have enjoyed encouraging children to use their imagination. I’ve always loved teaching children creatively and have experience looking after my niece and nephew full-time for a week here and there, as well as looking after my mum’s foster son after school when I visit my hometown on the South Coast. Childcare Experience
I've been a dance teacher of children for the past 3 years. Ranging from 3 years to 16 years old with classes up to 17 children that i look after and teach. I have also been an actual babysitter, looking after the children and picking them up from school etc. I'm a big believer in emphasising childrens natural environment, teaching creativity and being a hands on carer with gentle guidance founded from the childrens interests.
