Hi there, I’m a university student majoring in Psychology and Film and Television. I work as an educator in outside school hours care and have also worked as a child care assistant full time in the past. I find working with children incredibly rewarding. I believe that children encourage us to see the world in different ways, challenge ourselves, and be more creative. I am also a long distance runner and believe in active and healthy lifestyles. I am looking for some work on Saturday or Sunday mornings and would love to get to know your unique children. I’m also confident in helping children develop their reading skills, complete their primary school homework, and have strenths in English and essay writing for children in high school.
I have been looking after children since a young age. I had much younger brothers and sisters that I helped take care of ever since I was 12. I continued to babysit for friends and family throughout high school. During my gap year I worked full time at a Montessori childcare caring for children aged 15 months - 5 years old. I currently work with school aged children (4 - 12) Monday to Friday. I have experience in food preparation/hospitality and my I’m Alert Food Handling certificate. I also have an excellent academic record for those looking for support in homework or assignment help.
I am passionate about helping students to develop efficient time management and study skills that will prepare them for high school, university, or the work force. I am competent in tutoring for English, Film and Television (Media Studies), and Psychology, or Essay Writing/Assignment interpretation and explanation. I find it incredibly rewarding to help students achieve their goals and develop their skills.
