Childcare Experience
I’ve been looking after children for just over 7 years now just doing cash jobs and overnight stays. I have my drivers license valid so I am to do before/after school drop offs and pick ups. My longest nannying job would have to be that of two years; looking after two little twin girls (3yrs) and their older sister (8yrs) . I have acquired a lot of patience and skills whilst working for children. Some skills include: cooking, cleaning, knowing how or when to set a boundary, communication with parents, flexibility (children’s emotions can change quickly so it’s best to stay calm and patient as they grow and develop. I’m excellent at problems solving, planning activities and delivering empathy. I did a course during schooling and was placed in a childcare centre where I completed 100 hours of work experience. I was put in the infant room where I cleaned all the fun stuff and more. I cradled babies to sleep and made sure they were fed on time. I was then moved to the toddlers room. So I have worked a lot with all ages varying from 1-14 I really do enjoy the fun and unpredictable conversations you have with children and I hope to have kids of my own someday so this is great practice.
Tutoring Experience
I’m passionate in the teachings of math, English and science. I did a bit of buddy tutoring in school. I have no other qualifications.
