Hello! I am a 24 year old university student who is currently studying International Politics online at Deakin University. I have been babysitting and looking after kids ranging between the ages of 4 – 13 since 2018 when I just graduated high school and have been continuing to do so! I have a flexible Uni timetable and will be continuing my studies for at least another 4 years (lucky me). I have my own car and fully licensed! Unfortunately in the midst of buying a new car but have a loan car so still able to drive! I excelled in English, English Literature and English Extension in highschool and always achieved A’s in Philosophy, Legal Studies, Modern and Ancient history and recently completed a Uni subject with a Distinction in Critical Thinking as well as a subject that taught me the four types of of methods used when studying and retaining information. Lastly I have a pretty solid/ sound knowledge and understanding of Psychology and Human Behaviour.
I was in a special needs group as a helper whilst in America at which I had to help look after kids/teenagers/ adults with special needs ranging from severe autism, Down syndrome and alcohol induced deformities. My job was to help look after them for a few hours along with other helpers while parents went out.
I’ve done babysitting for kids ranging 6 months to 7 years old. I’ve also done caring for special needs kids/teenagers whilst I was on exchange in America. I’ve been doing baby sitting mostly for my neighbours but as they slowly grow up I’m no longer needed.
