Brazilian born and raised, currently studying on the Gold Coast. I’m into healthy lifestyle, I love nature, always exercising while exploring around. I’m a very outgoing person, with sense of humor, a friendly personality and very communicative with an extra “let’s do this” attitude. I used to teach dance as a volunteer at my church back in Brazil, teaching different styles such as ballet, jazz, hip hop and contemporary dance techniques. Did some casual babysitter hours for relatives and friends while in school, also looking after my first nieces when they were born. In Australia I have decided to take the path of a professional Early Childhood educator, holding now a Diploma in Children’s Services, with over 2 years experience looking after children in Australia. Childcare Experience
I have always been looking after children, since I was one. The rewards of having a big family and lots of cousins are fun times and never ending cute laughs. I had volunteered in my churches in Brasil, participating in dramatic plays and collaborating in dance performances with them at kids church. When living in Rio, as part of the Dance CIA we had also Cridance (children dance CIA, assisting on dance classes for children from different age groups - jazz, ballet, hip-hop and contemporary dance) In Australia as I mentioned before, I am a Diploma qualified children’s educator, holding First Aid Certificate as well as CPR and have a valid Blue Card. Don’t have a specific qualification to work with Children with special needs, however I’m interest in also gain this knowledge and skills. I know every child is special and has a unique personality and my biggest reward is are this uniqueness excels and flourish to the outside. The development of a little human is beautiful to watch, but it’s priceless when you have been part of the process somehow as I believe all peers are part of the woman/ man that little child is becoming.
Tutoring Experience
I have not got tutoring experience, maybe very little with one of my nieces. However I am patient and work with young children.
