Childcare Experience

I began babysitting my neighbours’ children at the age of 14, caring for a 4 year old, a 6 year old and a 12 year old. Additionally, I was responsible for looking after my three younger siblings as I grew up; they are now 13, 15 and 23, so I am well-versed in managing teenagers as well. With my teaching background, I have experience instructing children aged 4 to 12, including those with physical and intellectual disabilities. I also have a niece who is 3 years old and have been caring for her since she was a newborn. I find great satisfaction in working with children, as it allows me to witness their development and growth firsthand as they flourish under my care.

Tutoring Experience

I have been tutoring for six years. My experience began with tutoring two teenagers, aged 14 and 17, for two academic years as they prepared for their exams. While living in Abu Dhabi, I tutored 8 hours per week, working with three students aged 7, 9 and 10. I provided support in subjects including mathematics, English, science, history, geography and general homework activities. I am a qualified primary school teacher with almost four years of experience. I can teach English, mathematics, science, art, music, drama, physical education, history and geography. My teaching experience spans all years including fixed positions working with 4-6 year olds in Ireland for two years and additional experience teaching 9-10 year olds in Abu Dhabi for one year.
