Hi parents! I genuinely enjoy spending time with children. Back in my home country, I volunteered at a children’s library and worked as a storyteller. I also have experience as a private tutor and reading companion for kids aged between 7 and 12. I’m currently living in Melbourne and would love to support families with occasional babysitting, tutoring, or light household tasks. I look forward to meeting you and becoming a helping hand for your family!
I hold a background in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language from my previous university in Taiwan and have completed a one-year elective in Teaching English to Children. I also have experience tutoring a child with attention difficulties(ADHD), providing supportive and engaging one-on-one reading sessions. I am currently continuing my studies at the University of Melbourne and always open to learning how to better support children with diverse needs.
I’ve had experience working with children aged 7 to 12 through tutoring, reading sessions, and volunteer work at a children’s library, including storytelling duties. I enjoy engaging with children through language, games, and creative play, and I find it most rewarding when I can help them feel confident and happy while learning. I feel especially comfortable working with primary school-aged children and love creating a warm, supportive environment for them. I am now based in Melbourne city and happy to support local families with casual or regular childcare needs.
I have over two years of experience tutoring children aged 7–12 in Mandarin, reading, and piano. I previously volunteered in the children’s section of a public library, where I also worked as a storytelling facilitator. I studied Teaching Chinese as a Second Language at university and completed a one-year course in children’s English education. I’m currently transferring to the University of Melbourne. I’ve worked with children with attention difficulties(ADHD) and I am passionate about creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
