Childcare Experience

1. Passion for Early Experience: As I believed in play-based learning pedagogy deeply, I have created a four-sided visual seasonal trees as reference, for helping children understand time and performance change in trees. In order to align with childcare’s planning cycle, as we’re learning trees and natures. I have led arts activities based on trees, 8 children have created their seasonal trees by using their imagination and creativity, they felt confident and rewarding with their arts work. I have attached my seasonal trees in the attached file. 2. Key skills : - Buidling good relationships with children: I have worked with 2-3 years old children in my last placement, some of children are under 3 years old with challenging behaviours , I keep observing their interest and unique personalities to get along with them, at the end of my internship, children hugged me and say goodbye to me, which made me feel very rewarding. - Engaging with parents: I have helped my ECT documenting children’s progress and speak to families with my ECT at the end of school day. Buidling good trust with family is one of my strengths because I have gained solid communication skills from other industries with customers. - Collaborating with ECT to implement educational programs, I have bring lots of ideas of trees and nature in our program, collected some natural materials from nature, such as leaves, trucks, grass etc for supporting arts activities. - Problem solving : Under some special circumstances, my ECT was injuring during my internship, I was tightly connected with other educators to come up with some activities to lead children still learning when ECT teacher was absence.
