Hi. My name is Sinéad and I’m from Ireland. I am a qualified primary school teacher with 5 years teaching experience. I’ve taught children from the ages of 4-14 and I have experience working with children with Additional Needs e.g. Autism, ADHD, ODD, Sensory Processing Disorder and learning difficulties such as Dyslexia, Dyspraxia and Dyscalculia. I also have experience in childcare and minding children. I have a huge interest in arts and crafts and enjoy being creative. I love animals and the outdoors. I’ve recently moved to Australia on a Working Holiday Visa. I have a full Irish driver’s licence and my own car. I have my WWCC completed and I did a First Aid course while in Ireland. If you require any additional information please don’t hesitate to contact me.
I have received specialised training in caring for children with special needs, which has equipped me with the necessary skills to provide personalised support and create inclusive environments. My experience includes adapting activities to meet individual needs, promoting independence, and fostering a sense of belonging for all children. I approach each child with empathy, patience, and a focus on their unique strengths and abilities. I have experience in working with children who have Autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, Sensory Processing Disorder, Down Syndrome and ODD.
I have extensive experience in childcare, including creating engaging activities for children, ensuring their safety, and fostering their development. I prioritise building strong relationships with the children under my care to provide a supportive and nurturing environment. Additionally, I have a solid understanding of child development principles and effective communication techniques to interact positively with children of all ages. If you have any specific questions, feel free to ask!
I have experience helping students with various subjects, explaining concepts in an easy-to-understand way, and providing support to enhance their learning. I enjoy seeing students succeed and believe it is important for them to grow not only academically, but also in confidence.
