Hi! My name is Eva and I am a current student at the University of Melbourne. I am passionate about working with children and have long term experience as a swim teacher for students between 3 months - 1 year (with parents present) and 2-13 years old. I have practised surf life saving for many years, giving me confidence around water and CPR knowledge. I hold a valid first aid and cpr qualification as well as a drivers license and WWCC. I am a capable cook and am more than happy to help out around the house. I love being active and having fun!
I have prior experience as a babysitter for children 3-10 years old and am currently working as a swim teacher for children as young as 3 months. I love working with people and find childcare incredibly rewarding because of my own find experiences with a nanny when I was young, I want to make other children feel the same way I did!
I achieved an ATAR of 92.2 (for 8% of Victoria) in 2024 and was placed on the honour roll for both physical education and psychology. I attribute my love for learning and enjoyment in school to the amazing teachers I had along the way - they showed me the importance of patience and passion in learning environments. My favorite subjects in school included VCE biology and psychology, PE but feel confident teaching primary students as well.
