Hi parents! I have recently moved to Cairns. I am looking for local nannying/babysitting/housekeeping jobs. I previously lived in Melbourne for 7 months, working as an educational support aid and a nanny. I am a kind, friendly and hardworking person. I am from the uk where I have had 8 years of experience working within child care in a range of roles. Such as, a nursery assistant, an assistant sports teacher, a private nanny and a babysitter. I am available for causal babysitting in the week day evenings and for full day nannying and/or evening babysitting on the weekends. I also have my WWCC and my drivers license.

Childcare Experience

Hi parents! I am a friendly and kind individual who has 8 years of experience working within child care. I’ll first give you a little background on my experience. I started off my career early, helping out with hockey coaching whilst I was still in school. This led to me to my first official child care job, which was assisting Saturday sports classes for 2-3 and 3-5 year olds. Through this I developed a love for coaching and child care and so during my year off i worked as a PE assistant at a local school, teaching children aged 4-18. I then spent a year working in a nursery which I thoroughly enjoyed. Currently I am employed with FreeAgency as an educational support, working with primary school children with educational needs. Due to the nature of agency work I am able to have very flexible hours. I also am very keen on looking after your children in a way that best suits you and your children. This is something I’d be very happy to discuss in order to provide the best level of care to you and your children.

Tutoring Experience

Day to day, I work as educational support at primary schools. Because of this I am very comfortable with assisting students in one on one settings to provide additional assistance in order to their academic understanding.
