Tutor / Childcare/Babysitter Children are my forte. They are the magic in this World! I am a very caring, positive and enthusiastic person who has a plethora of experience working as a qualified teacher and private tutor for over 25 years with all ages. I treat your child as my own in whatever capacity you hire me but I do have my own 20 year old, who’s a total gem, so I’ve been through all stages. I’m trained in Mindfulness, so bring peace and calm and impart wellbeing techniques if needed. The key is tapping into the essence of your child, so they feel seen, valued and heard. I have also recently had 3 years working at a senior college in the city working with struggling teenagers including yr 11 and 12 teaching (SACE English/ RP) mentoring, counselling and guiding them through these tricky years. Hello parents, I have worked with young babies for over twenty years in 6 different countries but settled in Adelaide for over 10. British by birth some say I sound like Mary Poppins! My experiences has been with all ages from baby to my latest student who is 21. I love babysitting and tutoring ( worked as a teacher for 20) as it’s a fantastic way to build rapport with your child one in one. My passion is English, stories, developing imagination and finding innate gifts within each young person. Also helping with study skills, mindfulness techniques and love the mentoring aspect. I’m passionate about the need to support our students emotionally and psychologically. Children are the magic in our World!
