Child & Elderly Care Helper | Tutor | Casual Work Hi mums and dads! I’m a kind and reliable person with extensive experience caring for children and the elderly. I’m currently in my final year of medical school, completing an internship in gynecology and obstetrics at a private hospital in Brisbane. I also hold a First Aid certification and a Blue Card. I have years of experience working with children, including as an au pair in the Netherlands 10 years ago and in previous roles before that. I’m comfortable providing tutoring, engaging activities, and household assistance. Additionally, I’m happy to help with light housework, meal prep, and general caregiving tasks for both kids and the elderly. I’m available from Friday afternoons to Sunday evening for casual work. If you’re looking for someone patient, responsible, and dedicated, I’d love to help! Feel free to reach out!
I have worked for 4 years with children of different ages, from toddlers (1.5 years old) to school-aged kids (7–8 years old) and teenagers. My experience includes working as a teaching assistant, teaching English to children, and being an au pair in the Netherlands (2013). I love creating engaging and educational activities, helping with homework, and making sure kids feel safe and supported. One of the most rewarding aspects of working with children is watching their curiosity and confidence grow. Whether it’s helping a child take their first steps in learning a new language or seeing their excitement when they master a new skill, I truly enjoy being part of their development.
