Hello!! ☺️ I’m an Irish girl living in Sydney for over a year now. I have a large extended family and so I quickly became a very experienced babysitter as a teenager, for my younger cousins and family friends. I currently babysit a work colleagues children, a 6 year old boy, a 4 year old boy and also her 8 week old girl. I feel very comfortable around young children and I am very nurturing and warm by nature. My dream is to be a mother myself one day! I live a very active lifestyle and so I love playing games and sports with the kids I babysit. At home in Ireland for several summers I was a Cúl camp leader, which was a 4 week long summer camp for kids from the age of 5-12 years, where we helped improve their gaeilic football skills and also helped them socialise and make friends with other children their age. I also was a coach to many underage football teams and basketball teams. I find helping children fall in love with the sport the way I have to be very rewarding. I have a Science degree in Physiology and I worked previously as a laboratory analyst, so if your children need help with their science and maths homework too that should be no problem!! I really love music and enjoy singing and playing guitar in my free time. I live in Coogee and work part time in a children’s OT clinic. I can make myself available most evenings and certain days, I can be flexible with my hours. I would love to offer a hand to young families with busy lives!
I first started babysitting young children when I was 12 years of age. I used to look after my 3 baby cousins, who were all under the age of 5. At 17, myself and my sister primarily minded a family friends baby from age 1 until she was 5 years old. She became almost like our little sister and we have a good relationship still with her to this day. Aside from that, I’ve always been an active club member in my Gaeilic football club back home in Ireland. During the summer holidays I was a camp leader for several years at camps ran to help kids under the age of 12 improve their football and social skills. I also coached various underage sports teams throughout the years. I really enjoy being around kids, they make everything fun and light hearted and I especially love introducing them to sport as it’s not only fun but also so good for you.
