Childcare Experience
I had my first experience baby sitting when I was 15 years old, looking after my neighbourās baby who was a single mum and needed some extra help every now and then. I have a big family and at the time I left Brazil (5 years ago) I had 9 cousins between 0-10 years old, who were always keen to spend some time with their fun older cousin! When I first arrived in Australia I was working as a nanny, then covid came and everything changed. I had to find other jobs, then I had the opportunity to work in marketing for two baby/maternity brands (Pigeon and New Beginnings - which you probably have heard!) for 3 years. At this time my friends started having babies and since then Iām the go-to friend to baby sit whenever they need to run some errands or some alone time. Now that I recently left the job in the office, Iām happy to become a full-time nanny again!
