Hello families! I’m looking for casual work or regular 1-2 days/evenings a week. I am currently a casual early childhood Educator for my local council. If you need someone who is responsible, patient, has a childlike sense of humour who would join in your children's games and imaginary play, watch family movies and generally work towards building a great rapport with your child, then that probably describes me. I don't mind light house work/duties/basic cooking and am not afraid of nappies! I’ve been working with children since 2014, from OSHC programs, to nannying, in-home support work, to my move to long day care services in 2016. I hold a Diploma of Early Childhood and have been working primarily with babies-under 2s for the better part of the last 7 years. I am comfortable working with all age groups, and have two younger siblings (now, teenagers) who would give glowing references. Childcare Experience
I have been working in long day care for the past two years, primarily with the under 2's age group. The last year spent as a permanent assistant in the Nursery room. Before that, I worked for three years in before and after school care and holiday programs with Camp Australia. As well as my professional experience, I have two younger siblings in primary school who can beat me at nerf wars.
Tutoring Experience
I have no tutoring experience, but am strong in my English, reading, writing and grammar skills. I will be honest in saying that Maths is not my strong suit.
