Experienced nanny looking after children between the ages of 6 months - 5 years. Registered Midwife with APRAH First Aid accredited + Lifesaving Experience (previous advanced resuscitation techniques) Looking for casual nannying in any capacity. My interests outside of work involve: being outdoors, spending time with my family and getting in exercise with my dogs. As a midwife I have worked in many different hospitals, with all cultures and backgrounds of families. I have endured challenges but also been cherished to witness and support some of the most amazing women, fathers, siblings and newborns through hard times. I have extensive postnatal maternity and newborn care experience including but not limited to; settling, newborn health, syringe feeding, bottle feeding, breastmilk transfer assessment, breastfeeding support, baby led attachment and more. I am looking to work with a family who want to build a genuine relationship with their child’s carer, is open to learn as I will be from you. I respect family rules as I hope you will respect my boundaries too. I can do newborn bottle feeds + sterilizing and all that amazing fun stuff we all love to do. I am a a sucker for a clean and organised space so please be okay with cleaning! I love getting children outdoors as much as they will let me! Bare feet in the grass and planting seeds, picnics in the backyard and building forts inside with your little one is my kind of style! I am also happy to do basic household chores as a second priority to looking after the kiddies. I like to think I am a good cook with a recipe infront of me and knowing I’ll get a bowl too! I am open to the odd late afternoon call in so you and your partner can have a date night too. It’s essential!! My approach to working with children is to build a close relationship with them so I am someone they trust, I want to support them in achieving not just their developmental milestones but their own little personal achievements too! I encourage boundaries with children and teaching patience + kindness so that our day can run smoothly and we can all have fun!
