Hi there! I am currently in my fourth and final year of studying a Bachelor of Education (Primary) at the University of Sydney. I have a passion for working with children and I have gained valuable experience through my studies, placements, and babysitting. I pride myself on being responsible, caring, and fun, always ensuring that kids are safe, engaged, and happy while in my care. Whether it’s helping with homework, playing games, or simply keeping them entertained, I love creating a positive environment for children of all ages and needs. Special Needs Experience
I have worked in the disability sector for nearly 3 years, both within education and in the home. Working with people with a range of different disabilities (mostly ASD, ADHD, and other cognitive disabilities). Through this work I did a few professional learning courses to better understand different needs and how to address them. I have also engaged in multiple subjects at university that focus on special needs education.
Childcare Experience
I have been working with children now for about 2 years. I enjoy working with children of all ages, but I have most experience with children aged 4-13.
Tutoring Experience
I have done a few jobs here and there for tutoring for about 3 years. I enjoy helping children with their reading and writing homework, as well as loving mathematics, something that I will be doing extra classes for at university this year as a specialisation when I become a teacher. I mostly have experience with only primary aged students but would be willing to work with children in year 7 and 8.
