Hi parents! I’m 23 years old and originally from Melbourne, looking for casual babysitting roles! I’m a recent graduate from University of Melbourne with a double major in Psychology and Chinese studies. I am very passionate about working with children and creating a warm and positive environment for them to thrive in. I have various experience working with children including online English Second Language tutoring, working with children’s with disabilities as a Behavioural Therapist, in addition to previous babysitting experience! I have worked with children between the ages of 1-14. I also offer assistance with homework, cleaning and tidying up, and cooking and more! Please do not hesitate to reach out!

Special Needs Experience
I have previously practiced as a Behavioural Interventionist in 2022-2023. This experience included working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, by providing a type of play therapy interwoven with tasks designed to stimulate and advance that child’s learning
Childcare Experience
I have about 4 years experience working with children from ages to 1-14. Part of my roles as a Behavioural Interventionist and Babysitter was to come up with creative ways to play with and provide entertainment for the child. I also demonstrated flexibility and adaptability by constructing personalised play sessions that aligned with the child’s interests and preferred ways of play. These roles had a priority on professional communication with parents, guardians, and coworkers.
Tutoring Experience
In the past I tutored for two years teaching English to primary school aged children in China via zoom. We worked on interactive tasks such as story-telling and games to revise grammar and vocabulary skills.
