Hi everyone! My name is Sofia (23), I grew up in Belgium, Europe and graduated in June from university. I love being around kids so I work part-time at a preschool in Freshwater, but would love to get more work by doing some babysitting. I have a degree in Preprimary School Education and did one more year in Primary School Education to be able to teach in a primary school as well. I have three years of experience teaching 3-6 year olds, one year with 7-9 year olds, and three years in kindergarten. Additionally, I served as a sports monitor in Belgium, engaging kids in after-school activities. I’m currently on a Work Holiday Visa in Australia and living my best life in Freshwater with my partner Sam. I love animals, reading, walking, working out, etc.
I currently work part-time in a preschool with children aged 0-6 and have extensive experience in kindergartens, preschools, and primary schools in Belgium, where I’m originally from. I’ve also been a Sports Instructor for preschoolers. I am an enthusiastic, passionate, and adaptable professional with a diverse background. Valued for my caring, creative, and dependable nature, I approach every challenge with a positive outlook and a resilient spirit. With a strong passion for child development, a multilingual background, and a commitment to embracing new professional opportunities, I am excited to contribute my skills and positive attitude to a dynamic and innovative organization while immersing myself in the local culture.
I worked as a primary school teacher in Belgium, so I’m used to teaching different subjects to young kids. I’m very flexible and fast-learning so I can easily help with new learning materials.
