I am currently studying my Bachelor of Dermal Science at Victoria University while working casually in a Skin Clinic and at Mecca. I have always enjoyed looking after children within my family, and think I would be a positive role model for your child/ children. I believe I am trustworthy and responsible - through all of primary and secondary school I was appointed student leader, and have since continued to demonstrate responsibility in my young adult years, having held positions in a few retail jobs for 2-6 years, being a dog mum to a 7 year old Border Collie, managing and maintaining a share household, and being a long-term tenant. I have always loved arts and crafts, playing board games, playing leisurely sports, being outdoors or even just watching family movies - and love them all so much more with the company of children! I also especially enjoy teaching and helping out with homework and study - whether it be maths, English or science. I’m truly excited to meet you and spend time with your child/ children. My aim is to ensure we enjoy each other’s company and that they feel comfortable, have fun and are within a positive environment. ☺️

Childcare Experience
Growing up I loved spending time with my younger cousins, and have spent several nights baby sitting younger cousins, and the children of my parents’ colleagues/ friends since in my late teens - current. I have experience looking after kids over the age of 4. I have also spent the last few years living with my boyfriend’s sister since she was 5 (now age 9) which has a been a great experience. While it can be challenging, I find it extremely rewarding helping a child learn and solve problems - overcoming fears, knowing how to communicate, gaining patience and confidence, and simply understanding how things work. My boyfriend’s sister thinks of me as her older sister and looks up to me, and I want to make sure that I can be a positive influence in her life, and hope to be so for your child/ children also.
Tutoring Experience
I would not call myself a tutor explicitly as I have only had experience helping younger cousins, siblings and classmates with homework. I do however believe that I am patient and very clear and persistent when explaining things, and try to take different approaches if necessary. Teaching and helping others with problem solving is something I definitely enjoy!
