Hi Parents! I’m a 29 year old qualified primary school teacher from Ireland. I taught in London for 5 years prior to arriving in Australia. I’m currently teaching here in Sydney! In London I taught across three different year groups- one of those being an end of key stage year group in which was very assessment focussed. I have a lot of experience tutoring and setting interventions to ensure students can achieve their full potential. Prior to teaching here in Australia I nannied for a lovely family with three young girls so I have plenty experience with kids. Friends would describe me as bubbly, caring and attentive. Looking forward to hearing from you and working alongside you to ensure your child thrives in the classroom environment! Thanks Ciara! :)
Ive been teaching for eight years now and also used to nanny for a family whilst waiting on my teaching registration in NSW. Over the years I have babysit for family members as well as family friends so have a lot of experience.
In London I was lead teacher across a SATS class whereby they sat standardised tests in Reading, Writing and Maths at the end of the academic year. I have organised interventions as well as extension tasks to be able to facilitate children’s learning. I have extensive knowledge when it comes to techniques and strategies in order for children to succeed. As well as this I also tutored children outside of the classroom setting. I worked with the parents to ensure their children were getting the right help in the correct curricular area. During tutoring time I will provide resources/tasks/ worksheets to ensure we are productive during our time :) Looking forward to working with you!
