Hello families, I am Chloe, I have recently moved from Ireland. I am a fully qualified high school teacher in Ireland and teach Geography, some English and well-being subjects. I have six years teaching experience of classes with 25-30 students. I am available for the upcoming school summer holidays My ethos on working with children is to ensure they are developed holistically in a safe and fun environment. I have worked with students with additional learning requirements, in homework clubs, as a support teacher in special classes and organised summer camps within schools too for all ages. I have done some courses on working with children with autism and also am first aid trained. I am an outgoing and bubbly person who loves working with children and adolescents. I enjoy the outdoors and sports, reading and cooking. I am a quick learner and always open to feedback and trying new things. I have a full Irish driving license and have my working with children’s check here in NSW. I look forward to hearing from you.
I have some knowledge of autism and teaching children with autism. I have a good knowledge of teaching children with dyslexia and dispraxia. I am familiar with teaching methods to suit students with these additional needs.
I have been teaching in Ireland for 6 years. Before I began teaching I worked in a number of different summer camps for both children and adolescents each summer for a number of years. I have extensive sports coaching (GAA in Ireland) and others sports and activities, with children from the ages 5 and above. In 2021 I spent a month nannying two children aged 6 and 8, one with down syndrome. I enjoyed this thoroughly and learned so much too. Working in camps with children enabled me to attain skills working with children and also ensuring their safety at all times whilst under my supervision. I also feel that this experience enabled me to create positive relations and rapports working with children and adolescents. I find working with others so rewarding and enjoy the variety of the work, no two days are the same. I enjoy seeing children grow and develop positively and truly see the impact a good role model and support can have on them.
I have been tutoring in six years in Ireland. I help with reading, English, geography and can help with other subjects too such as history.
