Hi mums and dads! My name is Cate. I am 20 and currently a part time marketing student at Macquarie University. I am very experienced looking after children from newborns onwards, as I have raised my younger sister who is now 10 years old. I have also gained experience with children through years of being a swimming instructor and a children’s party entertainer, along with various babysitting jobs for friends and family. I have my full drivers licence, a recent police check, my WWCC, CPR and first aid certificates, and a great attitude :). I am also very comfortable caring for children with special needs, as I have experience looking after a little boy with tubular sclerosis over the years. Special Needs Experience

' I am experienced with a little boy with tubular sclerosis which involved helping him through seizures and adjusting certain aspects of my care to cater towards any difficulties he may face. I am also a swimming instructor and have had experience with children with both mental and physical disabilities through this. I am very comfortable and happy to care for children with disabilities and understand the extra care and understanding these children may need.

Childcare Experience

I have lots of experience looking after infants and young children, as I have helped raise my little sister who is now 10 years old. I am very comfortable burping, feeding, changing nappies and winding down for nap time. I also have lots of experience with older children through years of swimming instructing, up to 16 years old.
