Hello parents! I’m a qualified Early Childhood Educator and Special Needs Assistant, with experience as a casual nanny during school holidays, evenings, and weekends. I’ve recently made the move to Melbourne from Ireland and am excited to offer my babysitting services. With over 13 years of experience caring for children of all ages, from infants to teens, I’m passionate about providing safe, nurturing, and fun environments for your little ones. I hold a current Working With Children Check and Police Check, along with First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications for your peace of mind. I’d also be happy to lend a hand with household tasks like dishes, laundry, or general tidying if needed. I'm currently working as a casual educator with an agency in Melbourne, but I'm more than happy to help out on my days off. If you book in advance, I can mark myself as unavailable with the agency to make sure I’m free. I'm also available on weekends and in the evenings. Please feel free to reach out—I’d love to support your family in any way I can!
I have completed an Advanced Certificate in Special Educational Needs, received PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System) training, and attended various courses on Autism spectrum disorders. I have over four years of experience working as a Special Needs Assistant in Ireland, primarily supporting children with complex needs in an autism-specific classroom setting. Furthermore, I have provided care for children with ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Down Sydrome, DiGeorge Syndrome, MSL3 Syndrome, Epilepsy, and General Learning Disabilities.
With over 13 years of experience in childcare, I have developed a strong skill set in caring for children of all ages, from newborns to teenagers. I feel confident working with every age group, and I have extensive experience supporting children with special needs, allowing me to provide tailored care and support in this area. What I find most rewarding about working with children is the chance to make a meaningful, positive impact on their development and well-being. Seeing them grow—whether it’s reaching a developmental milestone, building confidence, or overcoming challenges—fills me with a deep sense of fulfilment.
