Hey families! I'm an Australian artist and nanny, currently completing my Masters of Art Therapy at La Trobe, which includes 700 hours of clinical placement working with a range of health and psychological conditions. I love being active, finding fun activities and outings for us to go on, and hanging out at home cooking and doing arts & crafts and other creative games. I have over 10 years of experience with all age groups. I've just began uni and placement again for the year so my availability is limited but I can do babysitting when available

Parent Reviews

7 families in your area recommended Bridget...
"Bridget was lovely! She was great with the kids, they loved having her and are looking forward to her looking after them again. Bridget texted after they were in bed to let me know how things were going. She did some awesome drawings with / for them, and they took to her right away. Definitely will get her back again. Thanks Bridget :)"

"Bridget was great with our 8 and 11 year old - played games and did some drawing together (she's a fabulous artist). She was punctual and texted us mid-evening to let us know everything was ok. The kids really liked her and I'd be happy to book her again and recommend to others."
From Anna - Collingwood
"Bridget was incredible with my 3 month old. They clicked immediately. Bubs was having a bit of an unsettled evening before Bridget arrived, but we left her in Bridget’s capable hands. We got updates throughout the night. Would definitely recommend Bridget with little babies."
From Stephanie - South Melbourne
"Bridget is a great communicator and an amazing cook. She is flexible and happy to help in any way. She is firm in a kind way - our three children can be tricky after school and she manages them better than I do! Shows initiative and is very reliable"
From Joanna - North Fitzroy
"Bridget was wonderful with our children 3 and 7. Lots of arts and crafts in her kit bag to keep creative minds at play. Our kids had a wonderful night. Punctual, Courteous and Confident with cheeky kids."

Special Needs Experience

I have worked with children on the spectrum, though not at the severe end. I also have psychology and counseling training and clinical experience with a range of psychological conditions.

Childcare Experience

I am the eldest of 4 and have a large extended family, so have been babysitting from a young age, and have nannied since I finished highschool throughout both of my Bachelor degrees. I recently nannied and au-paired for two families in London for just over 12 months, and am looking for some casual or ongoing roles now that I'm back in Melbourne, although I have already committed to two roles, so only have availability for one more role of one day per week, or casual shifts. I'm comfortable and experienced with all age groups and have sole care experience with multiple children including new borns and twins.

Tutoring Experience

I've taught private art lessons for many years, both individually and through a private art school. I was a peer tutor throughout my school years, I can also assist with primary homework.
